A user-facing string is not translated.

What it does

Reports string literals passed untranslated to Odoo exceptions (raise UserError("..."), ValidationError and the other exceptions of odoo.exceptions) and to message_post() outside test files.

Why is this bad?

Users see these texts; without _() they are always in English.

Example

raise UserError("You cannot delete a posted entry.")

Use instead (self.env._ from Odoo 18.0):

raise UserError(self.env._("You cannot delete a posted entry."))
