xml-bootstrap4-class (XML101)

A Bootstrap 4 class that Bootstrap 5 renamed, in Odoo 15.0 or later.

Applies to Odoo 15.0 and later.

What it does

Reports Bootstrap 4 classes in class, t-att-class and t-attf-class that Bootstrap 5 renamed: spacing (ml-*, mr-*, pl-*, pr-*), text and float alignment, border and rounded directions, dropdown alignment, the typography helpers, sr-only, badge-pill, custom-select and no-gutters.

Why is this bad?

Odoo 15.0 moved to Bootstrap 5, where these classes no longer exist: they silently do nothing. Migrations keep them, because nothing converts them.

Example

<div class="ml-3 text-right font-weight-bold">

Use instead:

<div class="ms-3 text-end fw-bold">

Fix safety

Safe: each class has exactly one Bootstrap 5 equivalent. Stylesheets of the module that target the old names are not changed.
